Co nowego w F-Secure Client Security 14.20:
- Software Updater improvements
- Software Updater can be now managed using the local user interface.
- Added support for installing software updates that are manually imported by the Policy Manager administrator.
- Fixed an issue with installing Microsoft Service Packs using Software Updater. It was impossible to install Service Packs that did not have a dedicated URL referring to the installer.
- Now supports running the installation of software updates as soon as possible if a scheduled task time is missing.
- Now supports installing multiple software updates without intermediate restarts.
- Firewall improvements
- Automatic creation of the firewall rules to support the distribution of virus definitions via the neighborcast feature.
- Introduced a new firewall alert for blocked connections.
- Fixed firewall performance issue caused by suboptimal handling of rules with IP ranges.
- Application control improvements
- Supports Application control file-based rules, through which administrators can block access to files based on their content digest.
- Introduced a new Application control alert for misconfigured rules.
- Other changes and improvements
- Added support to read the host identity via Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) interface.
- New main user interface.
Znane problemy do rozwiązania w F-Secure Client Security 14.20:
- When shifting between Premium and Standard editions, all local changes made by the end user are lost.
- Running the Client Security MSI installation package from a shared folder or mapped drive is not supported in case there is another antivirus product that needs to be uninstalled during installation.
- A restart is required after uninstalling Client Security.
- Web Traffic Scanning Advanced Protection blocks content only for harmful sites.
- User-defined proxy does not support authentication.

- Improved integration with IBM QRadar by adding support for LEEF format for the forwarded alerts
- Software Updater improvements
- Fixed an issue with installing Microsoft Service Packs using Software Updater. It was impossible to install Service Packs that did not have a dedicated URL referring to the installer.
- The Settings > Windows > Software Updater section has the following new settings added:
- Run the task even if a scheduled task is missing.
- Allow further installation of software updates before restarting.
- The default cache size for software updates is increased from 10GB to 20GB.

- Added support for Application control alerts reporting misconfigured rules.
- Added support for firewall block alerts triggered when an F-Secure firewall rule has blocked an application.
- Added support for report-only action for manual scanning operations.
- Fixed an issue with Email and Server Security 'Internal domains’ and 'Internal SMTP senders’ settings which were distributed with a wrong separator for Email and Server Security 14.x version.
- Fixed the issues with the Policy Manager Console Inheritance report which showed firewall profile IDs instead of names from the Firewall profiles automatic selection table.
Znane problemy do rozwiązania w F-Secure Policy Manager 14.40:
- You can safely ignore the error 'The installation of some components failed…’ that is shown when installing Server Security 12.x on top of Policy Manager 14.00.
- Policy-based repair operations and shifting between Premium and Standard editions are not supported for Client Security 14.00. Use uninstallation and installation operations instead.
- If F-Secure Client Security or F-Secure Server Security for Windows Servers is installed on the same computer where you install F-Secure Policy Manager, setup may ask you to restart the system. You can safely ignore this request.
- MSI support: the correct F-Secure setup errors are not reported (CTS-38931). Instead, only the following error is reported: „There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.”
- Policy Manager cannot be installed to directories that contain double-byte characters in the path. This includes national characters in non-ISO-latin character schemes, for example, Japanese and Chinese versions of the supported platforms. We recommend that you use the default installation path.
