Producent oprogramowania udostępnił najnowszą aktualizację dla FortiMail o oznaczeniu 7.0.5. Dzięki aktualizacji, zostały naprawione problemy dotyczące zwiększonego obciążenia procesora, pamięci i systemu, również poprawiono skanowanie plików PDF pod względem wykrywania szkodliwych adresów URL. Ponadto w wcześniejszej wersji oprogramowania występował problemy z tworzeniem aliasów użytkowników, lecz po aktualizacji problem został rozwiązany.
